What we offer
The Potential Full-Time Employee (PFE) Program allows new employees to work hand-in-hand with experienced Delta employees in order to best observe employee performance, qualifications, and work habits before offering potential candidates a permanent position. The PFE Program also supports TechOps A&P School Partnerships throughout the country by providing contingent positions for A&P students and graduates as potential ASMs or AMTs. This allows managers to provide a trial period for candidates they have self-recruited. The PFE Program gives PFE’s a chance to test drive Delta, and Delta a chance to test drive them.
Employee Mentorship is the nexus for fostering career enhancing opportunities. Its design develops individuals both professionally and technically in all business units. The Employee Mentorship programs strategically promote the skills, competencies, and Delta values to create success for the next generation. These programs define a pathway for employees to envision a lifelong career of growth, enrichment, and education here at Delta.
Delta TechOps sets ambitious goals for business. Our employees’ job builds on a high performance team that meets these goals. The TechOps mentorship programs gives you support for growing your career. The mentorship programs are structured at Pipeline to provide continuous progressive development for each employee’s career from the Individual Contributor level to Leadership Coaching.
The Pipeline Development Team engages in supporting community awareness of aviation maintenance career opportunities in middle and high school classrooms. These include skilled trade occupations such as aviation maintenance technicians, avionics/electrical technicians, machinists, and welders.
In addition, the Pipeline Team connects with the local community by supporting career fair events with the goal of creating awareness of the great career opportunities within TechOps. The career fair events also provide hiring opportunities in support of the TechOps Talent Pipeline.
